It is not surprising you want to find out how to upgrade your car stereo, we have not found a factory car stereo system that we loved either! So where should you start? With the speakers, the head unit (radio) or with an amplifier? We like to start by asking a few questions like:

• Does your car stereo have the features you want or need? iPod hookups, USB ports, Navigation
• What kind of music do you listen to? From what sources?
• Do you listen at talking level, or louder?
• How old are the speakers in your car & how are they sounding?
• Are there any other considerations about space or use of your vehicle we need to consider?
• What type of vehicle are we upgrading the car stereo in: car, truck, SUV, Convertible, Semi-Truck?

How Important is a Quality Car Audio Installation?

The installation of your new car speakers or subwoofer is as important than the quality of equipment you select. Today’s vehicles are more complex than they were 30 years ago when car audio was born, fortunately the training and tools we invest in have kept us to to date and qualified to work on the latest vehicles and their digital audio systems. Things that need to be considered and reviewed include impact on your vehicles electrical system, integration with your vehicles data bus systems and any modifications or fabrication of parts to adapt sizes and fitment.

Tuning up your Car Audio System

Once we have helped you select your new car audio system and completed a proper installation we tune your system to maximize it’s performance. To do this properly we use advanced audio and electrical analyzers and finally our ears to dial in the best sound quality possible. This includes setting amplifier gain levels, speaker crossover points, equalizer levels and more. Even if you had your equipment installed elsewhere, or did it yourself we can review your car audio systems settings, adjust things properly and tune your system to your taste.
